TLC'S SISTER WIVES RETURNS WITH A SPECIAL DELIVERY

TLC'S SISTER WIVES RETURNS WITH A SPECIAL DELIVERY

Premieres Sunday, September 25 at 9PM (ET/PT)

(Los Angeles, Ca.) TLC's hit series SISTER WIVES returns on Sunday, September 25 at 9 PM (ET/PT) with a big family announcement.  Since the beginning of season one, the Browns have seen their share of drama - from "coming out" as polygamists on national television, to bringing on a fourth wife and her children, to most recently fleeing their beloved Utah home for fear of prosecution.  Now, just as the family is adjusting to their radically changed lives in Las Vegas, they're hit with yet another surprise--but this time, in a very small package.  Kody's newest wife, Robyn, is having a baby!
Season two continues as the family struggles to make a home for themselves in Las Vegas, isolated in four separate houses far away from their tight-knit religious community.  Each episode follows the Browns as they adapt to their new surroundings and changed family dynamic--from Kody facing the challenge of the wives living in different houses, to the children struggling to fit in and make friends at a new school, to Kody and the Sister Wives exploring the creation of a family business.  On top of everything else, there's now the excitement and preparation for the new addition to the family.  Viewers will follow Robyn through every step of the pregnancy, from when she shares her happy news with the family, to the moment when they learn the baby's gender, to the expected home delivery.  Through it all, the Browns continue to support and love each other while navigating the challenges of living a plural lifestyle.

  2. I like a cigar too but I take it out of my mouth once in a while.

How does Kody plan on supporting this tribe once the TV show ends?

Has he cased the welfare offices yet?

  3. He probably has. Sometimes you need to watch trash to actually see what it going on, so when there are lawsuits, etc., you have an opinion on how it might affect others, es[ children, later on. And, it's funny! If you took a drnk every time they lied.... whew.

  4. No, we should take a dollar every time they are caught in a a lie, and collectively send it to Flora Jessop for her efforts., from us here at SW!

  5. You know, that's a great idea!

  7. i do think your idea is excellent, too, Mister Sister... even tho it could cost me up to a $100 an episode!!

  8. Yay! Another single mom! At least she is over 20.

  9. OK, I know this is petty, and I apologize if I offend anyone. But reading the above really pointed something out to me: Where are they getting these kids' names? And the spellings?

  10. Oh the names are nuts aren't they! Deliberately "different" and misspelled names are something that annoys me beyond all rational proportion. They aren't Book of Mormon names either (which can sound pretty strange to someone unfamiliar with them), just strange names.

Robyn's not a single mum though. Her relationship may be strange, you may or may not agree that it's a marriage, but she has a partner and the child will have a father. Calling the baby a bastard is cruel, and calling her a single mum is inaccurate.

It was to be expected that she would be pregnant in this series, one of the main justifications for polygamy has always been for the man to "build his kingdom" and to bring as many souls as possible into his family and faith. I don't know if the Browns have ever spoken publicly about their exact views, but most fundamentalist Mormons don't use contraception for those reasons and believe to do so is to go against Gods plan.

  11. I think comments like "Bastard baby!" are offensive to the innocent children caught in this mess, out-of-date, and un-called for. I appreciate the snark on the adults and don't approve of this lifestyle, but come out of the dark ages and leave the kids alone.

  12. It's a crying shame that people who disagree with ANYthing have to be so negative about it, like there's some tremendous payoff for doing so. If you don't agree, fine! Nobody said you have to. But you certainly don't have to send so much negative energy out to it either. It doesn't cost a thing to have good manners and mind your own business while other people work things out in their lives. I'm sure there are things in YOUR life someone would have something to say about, and you wouldn't appreciate that at all.

  13. I'm pretty sure it's accurate she's a single mom. In fact, it's what she sued for. She's, legally, an unwed mom. Her choice -- it's what she wanted, so good for her, right?

Now, I'll never agree with any of these TLC shows filming kids. But nobody asked me.

  14. I've been watching the show from the start and it seems like the wives have to keep convincing themselves that this is right for their family. Why am I seeing alot of unhappiness? There is no way each of these women are truely satisfied emotionally or physically. I feel sad that this is what they feel they deserve...a shared husband.

  15. It is, isn't it. we were talking about the change in them on the top post. I think it's a rough life

  16. I do not agree with how they live their lives but if they are happy who am I to judge them. I watched the show from the beginning just to see what it was like and now I am a fan. That lifestyle is not for me but I guess it works for them.

  17. I do think this gentleman seems very nice, but he for sure likes the idea that "no one can define him" which seems like it makes him feel very powerful. I think he seems like a very loving husband, but I do feel his wives are sad that they feel that this is the best life they could have. Which I feel is a lack of a healthy self image. And, further which is even sadder that they are saying these are sacred relationships. Sacred marriage is between two. They are very into their church as opposed to a relationship with christ. Jesus wasn't one for religious people. I also think women today crave feeling and needing a place of acceptance and feeling like they are not alone. These are for sure, loving people, nice people and well intentioned...but I don't believe for a minute these ladies are as happy and casual about their situation as they appear on camera.

  18. I want to know why noone seems to be(or choose)to answer how Kody pays for these four homes, children, car insurance, trips, food, etc. I find this guy the biggest narcissist on the planet. He can go to the shooting range and pay $1000 and then whine that they can't pay for these homes. Why don't Kody quit his job, because I am sure, he could shed a tear(which he seems to be able to do at the drop of a hat), and any of these four insecure woman(who don't believe they deserve one man's full attention and love)will all go find jobs to support him
